Wedding and Party Song Requests for 2023-24

I have played for weddings, parties and corporate events for 40 years.

What fascinates me is how song requests have changed.

When I first started entertaining, the American songbook and Broadway songs were very popular, with some requests for “newer songs” like Billy Joel and Elton John.

This has changed. On occasion, I may get requests pre-event for the American Songbook, and usually some Frank Sinatra songs are requested.

Now Taylor Swift tops the list. Along with more recent songs by Bruno Mars, John Legend, Ed Sheeran. Elton John, Billy Joel, Queen, and the Beatles are classics.

I can now get all song requests on the internet. Song requests are essential to making your wedding, party or corporate event a success.
